3. Accounts and login security
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Keeping your login information secure
- Using KinBrief only for lawful purposes
- Making sure your account is not used by someone else without permission

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being misused, creates security risk, violates these Terms, or harms KinBrief or other users.
4. Care circles and permissions
A care circle is a shared workspace for a care recipient.
Care circle owners and admins are responsible for:
- Inviting only people who should have access
- Assigning appropriate roles
- Removing people who should no longer have access
- Deciding what information belongs in the workspace
- Making sure shared information is appropriate and permitted
Members of a care circle may see information added to that workspace depending on their role and permissions.
Do not add private information about another person unless you have a reasonable right or permission to do so.
5. Your content
You keep responsibility for the content you add to KinBrief, including tasks, notes, documents, timeline entries, family member details, care recipient details, and weekly brief content.
By adding content to KinBrief, you give us permission to store, process, display, and use that content as needed to provide the service.
You are responsible for making sure your content:
- Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Is not unlawful
- Does not violate someone else’s rights
- Is not shared with people who should not see it
- Is reviewed before being used for important decisions
KinBrief does not verify medical records, legal documents, insurance coverage, family authority, task accuracy, or the correctness of uploaded files.
6. AI-generated suggestions
KinBrief may use AI to generate draft summaries, suggested tasks, follow-up items, questions to discuss, document summaries, or weekly care briefs.
AI-generated content may be incomplete, incorrect, unclear, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation.
You must review, edit, approve, or reject AI-generated suggestions before relying on them, saving them, assigning them, or sharing them.
Do not rely on AI output for medical decisions, medication changes, emergency decisions, legal decisions, financial decisions, insurance decisions, or care decisions that require professional judgment.
7. Documents
KinBrief may allow you to upload or register documents such as care notes, insurance cards, discharge papers, doctor notes, medication lists, legal documents, or other files.
You are responsible for:
- Uploading only documents you are allowed to store and share
- Checking that documents are current and accurate
- Keeping backup copies outside KinBrief
- Deciding who in the care circle should have access
KinBrief should not be your only storage location for important medical, legal, financial, insurance, or identity documents.
8. Sharing outside KinBrief
KinBrief may let you copy, download, export, or share care summaries.
Once you share information outside KinBrief, we cannot control what happens to that information. Be careful when sending care updates by email, text message, WhatsApp, social apps, printed copies, or other external tools.
Only share care information with people who should receive it.
9. Payments and subscriptions
KinBrief may offer free and paid plans.
Paid plans may be billed monthly, yearly, or according to the plan shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
You are responsible for reviewing plan limits, prices, renewal terms, trial details, and cancellation terms before purchasing.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout:
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- You can cancel future renewal
- Canceling does not automatically delete your account or care circle
- Refunds are not guaranteed except where required by law
KinBrief may change pricing, plan limits, features, or billing terms. If a change affects an active paid subscription, we will provide notice where required.
